Upon receiving the nomination and successfully applying to the University of Toronto, candidates will receive a personalized and secure link to access the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship application.

Eligibility criteria for applying to the Pearson International Scholarship include the following:
- The applicant must be an international student, meaning they are not Canadian and require a study permit.
- Applicants must presently be in their last year of secondary school or have completed their studies no earlier than June 2023.
- The applicant must intend to commence their studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024.
- It is noteworthy that students who are already registered in post-secondary studies cannot be considered, and likewise, students beginning their studies at another post-secondary institution in January 2024 are also ineligible for consideration.

Additionally, high schools that have previously participated in the program will receive access to their nominations in early September.
- Submit an application for enrollment at the University of Toronto to begin your studies in September 2024. Ensure that you complete your application for admission by the specified deadlines. It's important to note that you will be considered for the Pearson Scholarship based on your first choice of program at U of T. Although you may apply for multiple programs and receive admission offers, if awarded the Pearson Scholarship, it will be restricted to your first choice of program at U of T at the time scholarship decisions are made.
- After the university receives a nomination and the applicant has applied for admission, they will be able to finalize the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application. A private link to access the scholarship application will be provided once the nomination by the school is successfully confirmed.
The deadlines for the Pearson Scholarship are as follows:
- School nomination deadline: 30 November 2023
- Student OUAC admission application deadline: 15 December, 2023. It is crucial to emphasize that this marks the ultimate deadline for submitting an application to the OUAC. While applications can be submitted up to December 15, 2023, it is strongly recommended to apply for admission through the OUAC as early as possible. - Multiple Nominations:
Schools are allowed to nominate one student annually. - Decision Notification:

- Nomination without U of T Application:
Certainly, it is permissible to nominate a student who has not yet applied for admission to U of T. However, to submit the scholarship application, students must first apply for admission to U of T.
